This Account, Profile & Data Deletion Policy (“Deletion Policy”) governs the manner in which registered users (“Members”, “You”, “Your”) of the Saathi4u online matrimonial platform (“Saathi4u”, “We”, “Us”, “Our”) may request permanent deletion of their account, profile, and associated personal data.

In the event of any inconsistency, this Deletion Policy shall prevail solely with respect to account and data deletion matters.
1. Right to Request Deletion
Saathi4u recognizes and respects a Member’s right to request permanent deletion of their account and personal data from the platform.
Subject to verification and applicable legal obligations, Members may request deletion of:

Deletion under this Policy is voluntary, irreversible, and permanent.
2. Exclusive Method of Deletion Request

Saathi4u processes account and profile deletion requests exclusively via email.

The deletion request email must clearly include:

The registered email address and/or mobile number associated with the Saathi4u account

Member name or profile identifier (if available)

Saathi4u reserves the right to reject or delay any request that is incomplete, ambiguous, or unverifiable.
3. Identity Verification & Authorization
To safeguard user privacy and prevent unauthorized deletions, Saathi4u may require additional verification, including but not limited to:

One-time password (OTP) verification

Government-issued identification (only if legally required)
Deletion shall not be processed until Saathi4u is reasonably satisfied as to the identity and authority of the requesting Member.
4. Scope of Data Deleted
Upon successful verification and approval, Saathi4u shall permanently delete or de-identify the following data from active systems:

Photographs, documents, and uploaded media

Partner preferences and matchmaking data

Messages, chat history, and interaction records

Deleted data cannot be retrieved, restored, or reinstated under any circumstances.

Notwithstanding deletion, Saathi4u may retain limited data strictly to the extent required:

6. Processing Timeframe

Platform access shall immediately cease
Saathi4u shall not be liable for delays caused by verification failures, legal obligations, or technical constraints.
7. Consequences of Deletion
By submitting a deletion request, the Member expressly acknowledges and agrees that:

All membership benefits shall immediately terminate

Deleted profiles shall not be visible or searchable

Prior communications, matches, and data shall be permanently lost

Any paid services or subscriptions shall stand forfeited unless otherwise required by law
8. Distinction Between Suspension & Deletion

Members requesting deletion waive any right to restoration or recovery of deleted data.
9. Google Play Store Compliance Statement
In compliance with Google Play’s User Data and Account Deletion policies, Saathi4u provides:

10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Saathi4u shall not be liable for:

Members assume full responsibility for requesting deletion.
